IRL/CARS Xtreme League

1.  All participants are to refrain from badmouthing, finger pointing, and complaining during  race sessions.  If you feel you have a legitimate complaint, put it in e-mail form after that nights races are completed.  All complaints and/or suggestions will remain confidential.

2.  All participants not on the front row should refrain from going as soon as the green flag drops, you should wait until the cars directly in front of you have accelerated well enough ahead of you that you won't run over them.

3.  Everyone should drive in as clean of a manner that is possible.  Just because someone is slower than you, doesn't give you the right to run over them.

4.  If for some reason you should get disconnected from your ISP, we will give you 5 minutes to return, and if it happens during a race you will be scored as a DNF, we will not re-run a race.   If it takes longer than 5 minutes you may continue to race, and you will be awarded last place points for any events that you did not start.

5.  All DNF's will be scored based on number of laps completed.

Section B:  Race Format

Race night will be Sunday, with pre-race meeting starting at 7:30 p.m. Central time, and qualifying/time trials will start at 7:45 p.m. Central time.  Low pings are critical for decent game play, and membership is limited to players who can maintain a ping level under 250 in game server.

Event Format:

Each night of official competition, we will have qualifying, 2 heat races, a trophy dash, and then the feature.

To qualify, we take turns running 3 laps, the fastest lap of the 3 is your qualifying time (everyone else exits the race immediately when the game loads, and goes back in to watch whoever is qualifying)

The first heat (8 laps) is lined up inverted according to qualifying times, slowest qualifier starts on pole, fastest in back.

The second heat (8 laps) is lined up inverted according to the finishing order of the 1st heat. Last place in first heat starts on pole, winner starts in rear.

The trophy dash (4 laps) consists of only the top 4 qualifiers (everyone else exits the race immediately when the game loads and goes back in to watch). The finishing order determines the line up for the first 4 spots in the feature.

The feature (25 laps) is lined up according to qualifying times, except that the top 4 qualifiers are lined up according to their finish in the trophy dash, the winner of trophy dash starts on pole etc.
